“Celebrating Independence Day” – “Celebrando día de la Independencia”

Dear Parents,

Welcome to a new week! I hope everybody is enjoying this wonderful season.  During this week, students will learn more about United States history and the important celebration this weekend on Independence Day.

We will continue to have fun and interesting learning experiences, through the use the following activities:  videos, games, social activities (a nice picnic) and, on Wednesday and Friday we will show our pride through parade participation.   

Upcoming Events:

Monday: We will pretend to be President of the United States.

Tuesday: Crazy Hair Day.

Wednesday: Day Picnic with fruit and painting.

Thursday: Day parade for independence.

FRIENDLY REMINDERS:

·         Please remember to bring extra clothes for this summer.

·         We also will be need swimwear and a towel for splash days.

·         Please bring sunscreen for your child and fill the form so we can have it in the class.

·         Remember that children should not bring toys to the class, as this causes discomfort among children.

·         Please, remember to check if your child has a set of changing clothes at school.

“We go camping” – “No vamos de campamento”

Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new week! I hope everybody is enjoying this wonderful season.  During this week, we will continue learning about summer and exploring all the interesting things that we can discover through reading and writing.
Our topic for this week will be “We go camping”. We will have exploration activities and we will talk about the elements of camping and nature. We will also read stories and play with a tent indoors during this full week of fun and educational activities.

“Summer Is Here” – “El Verano Llego”

Dear Parents,

Welcome to a new week! Summer is here, and we hope to enjoy it very much this season. We will have fun activities that will encourage children to learn more Spanish while they are enjoying our summer camp.  During these days, we will also get ready for Father’s day celebration by preparing special gifts for our loved ones.

“The Universe and Me” – “El Universo y yo”

 Dear Parents,

Welcome to a new week! After an exciting week we will finish our theme “The Universe and Me.”  During these days, we will get ready for Father’s day celebration, preparing special gifts for our loved ones. We will also be part in a small celebration as part of Sff! end of school year.

FRIENDLY REMINDERS:

·         Please take homework on Wednesday and send it back on Friday.

·         Do not send toys that can be lost or damaged. If your child brings toys to share in class, please remember your child that he/she is responsible of it.
