“Conociendo las plantas – Knowing the plants“
Dear
parents,
Welcome
to February and to a new and interesting learning week. This month,
children will learn about plants. My goal is for them to learn to identify
their main parts of the plants, their growth process, and how can we protect
them in our daily routine.

Un día en el parque jugando estaba
Con mis amigos de SFF
Mire hacia el suelo, vi algo pequeño
La semillita yo vi pasar
Yo la tome con mucho cuidado
Y en una taza con amor la sembré
Con tierra y agua creció mi planta
Y muchas flores yo vi nacer
Cuida tú alrededor,
A las plantitas respeta,
Por un mundo mejor cuida la naturaleza.

· Remember to check if your
child has a set of extra clothes at school.
· The weather is changing, please
consider grabbing a jacket for your child before leaving home.
· Take your journal home
every day and please take your homework book home on Wednesdays. These
should come back Monday.
· Do not bring
toys to school as they could get lost or be damaged.
