Theme of the Week: “My
Family”
Dear Parents,
Welcome to a new week! We will start to work on a new
topic, “My Family.” Our children will learn about of their friends’ families
and teach the others about their own. Furthermore, the children will learn the
meaning of family and we also will strengthen the feeling of being part of one.
Our goal for this topic is for the children to learn about
different kinds of families, the role and responsibility of each of their
members, and the different kinds of housing where a family can live.
We will continue encouraging children to learn Spanish as a second
language in a fun way while they continue growing up and enjoying of fun
activities in a comfortable, healthy and safe environment.
Learning
activities:
Math: Children will learn a new number, associate this number with
quantity, and trace it. Language and literacy: Children will continue to learn
vowels, trace them, and identify them in words.
Art: Children will create each member of their families with
clothespins.

Reminders:
- Please, remember to check if your child has a set of changing clothes at school.
- Do not forget to bring your child’s blanket, and any crafts, home on Friday.
