What are we learning?

Dear Dinosaurs Parents,

This week we will learn to be little travelers and we will celebrate the country where we live. The children will learn about interesting facts of USA. We are scheduling exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills. Children will play and participate in traditional US games and participate in the Independence Day Parade to celebrate 4th of July. All these activities will help children to explore and learn new things while having a blast.

Thank you once again for all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s life.

Materials for Special Projects/Activities

Bring a snack to share on Picnic Day.

Friendly Reminders
  • Bring swimsuit, towel, water shoes and a tote handbag for Splash day.
  • Check your child’s cubby every Friday and take home your child’s blanket for laundry. Make sure to bring it back on Monday.
  • Make sure to bring extra sets of clothing appropriate to weather.
  • Sunscreen is important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn. Yet applying sunscreen to your child requires planning. If sunscreen must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and label the sunscreen bottle with your child's name.
  • Remove all your child projects completed from the cubby.

Holidays & Upcoming Events

Picnic Day on Wednesday, June 29th.
The Independence Day Parade on Friday, July 1st.
School will be closed on Independence Day, Monday, July 4th.

What are we learning?

Dear Ositos Parents,

Our summer camp is finally here! We are so excited that we are able to keep encouraging children learn new things and develop their creativity while having a fun and exciting time. We are scheduling exciting learning activities that will allow us to continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as:

●      Doing outdoor activities.
●      Having our Splash day.
●      Playing to pretend to be chefs and prepare healthy food.
●      Making a delicious fruit salad, sandwiches and pizza and preparing a refreshing lemonade.
●      Playing bowling.
●      Creating art projects.
●      Celebrating a Luau Party and dancing.

What are we learning?

Dear Ositos Parents,

This week the children will be reviewing favorite topics they have learnt in the school year 2015-2016. We will discuss how we have grown in the past year and we will play outside. Children will also learn about Pablo Picasso and we will review the abc and words we have learnt through the year.

We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us strengthen motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as art projects, games and outdoor activities such as:

Look at pictures taken through the whole year.
Play soccer and basketball.
Make a collage.
Work on a artcraft about Mona Lisa.
