What are we
learning?
Dear Ositos Parents,
This week the children
will be reviewing favorite topics they have learnt in the school year
2015-2016. We will discuss how we have grown in the past year and we will play
outside. Children will also learn about Pablo Picasso and we will review the
abc and words we have learnt through the year.
We have scheduled
exciting learning activities that will allow us strengthen motor and
cognitive-sensory skills such as art projects, games and outdoor activities
such as:
Look at pictures taken
through the whole year.
Play soccer and
basketball.
Make a collage.
Work on a artcraft about
Mona Lisa.
Thank you once again for
all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s
life.
Best Regards,
Friendly Reminders
- Have your child wear sandals or sneakers instead of flip flops.
- Check your child’s cubby every Friday and take home your child’s blanket for laundry. Make sure to bring it back on Monday.
- Make sure to bring an extra set of clothing appropriate to weather.
- Remove all your child projects completed from the cubby.
- Sunscreen is important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn. Yet applying sunscreen to your child requires planning. If sunscreen must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and label the sunscreen bottle with your child's name.
- Motivate your child to read at home.
