What are
we learning?
Dear Ositos Parents,
This week the children
will be learning about insects through play. We have scheduled exciting
learning activities that will allow us strengthen motor and cognitive-sensory
skills such as:

Reading: children will start reading level C books.
●
Learning math: children will start with additions (0 to 10).
●
Learning science while discovering the insect world.
Thank you once again for
all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s
life.

Friendly Reminders
●
Check your child’s cubby every Friday and take home your
child’s blanket for laundry. Make sure to bring it back on Monday.
●
Make sure to bring an extra set of clothing appropriate to
weather.
●
Sunscreen is important to protect your child because he/she
is very susceptible to sunburn. Yet applying sunscreen to your child requires
planning. If sunscreen must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an
administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen should be
applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and label the sunscreen bottle with
your child's name.

Motivate your child to read at home.
