What are we learning?

Dear Ositos Parents,

This week the children will be learning about the earth, the sun, the moon and the stars. Children will discover the differences among these stars through play. We will also talk about activities that takes place during day and night. We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us strengthen motor and cognitive-sensory skills such as art projects, games and outdoor activities.

Friendly Reminders

• Check your child’s cubby every Friday and take home your child’s blanket for laundry. Make sure to bring it back on Monday.
• Make sure to bring an extra set of clothing appropriate to weather.
• Remove all your child projects completed from the cubby.
• Sunscreen is important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn. Yet applying sunscreen to your child requires planning. If sunscreen must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and label the sunscreen bottle with your child's name.
• Motivate your child to read at home.

 Holidays & Upcoming Events

Memorial Day on Monday, May 30th. School will be closed.

Report cards will be sent home on Friday, June 3rd.
