Little Scientists
What are we
learning?
Dear Dinosaurs Parents,
This week we will learn
to be little scientists. We will continue creating safe learning environments
that offer the children the opportunity to explore and experiment with science.
We will discuss about the aquatic animals and we will make experiments with
water. We have scheduled exciting learning activities that will allow us to
continue strengthening motor and cognitive-sensory skills. One of the most
exciting activities for this week will be tie dye!
Thank you once again for
all your support and for letting us play such an important role in your child’s
life.
Materials for
Special Projects/Activities
Have your child wear
swimsuit, splashers or swim diapers and water shoes for Splash Day. Bring a
towel and a plastic bag for wet items. Pack all these items in a tote bag for
your child. We recommend to label the bag, swimsuit, towel and shoes with your child’s
name.

Reminders
- Check your child’s cubby every Friday and take home your child’s blanket for laundry. Make sure to bring it back on Monday.
- Make sure to bring extra sets of clothing appropriate to weather.
- Sunscreen is important to protect your child because he/she is very susceptible to sunburn. Yet applying sunscreen to your child requires planning. If sunscreen must be applied to your child, make sure to fill out an administration or authorization form specifying when sunscreen should be applied and be sure to supply the sunscreen and label the sunscreen bottle with your child's name.
- Remove all your child projects completed from the cubby.
